Managed Services

The largest proportion of any organisation’s IT budget is spent maintaining existing systems - estimates vary between 50-80% of budget being consumed by ongoing server maintenance.

KLIKON Solutions can remotely manage routers, switches, firewalls, servers, operating systems, any SNMP devices, and applications (depending on specific requirements).

KLIKON Solutions is committed to the success of your business, and understands that Network downtime is costly, causing organisations to lose time, productivity and money. With its roots stemming from a systems integration organisation, KLIKON Solutions offers a range of maintenance services tailored to your specific needs. KLIKON Solutions Managed Services offer customers a program with flexibility to meet their requirements and budget. This means timely problem rectification.

The KLIKON Network Operations Centre (NOC) is a core component of the Managed Service solution. KLIKON has made a significant investment in its Managed Service offering through the implementation of Computer Associates UniCentre suite as our Network Monitoring System (NMS) to allow KLIKON the confidence to deliver a reliable, scalable, and cost effective solution catered to our customers’ specific business requirements.

By leveraging innovative processes, latest technologies and economies of scale, managed services drives change that results in greater efficiencies and standardisation for your organisation. Our metric-defined service levels and controls increase accountability while improving quality, predictability, and risk management.

Capacity & Performance Management

KLIKON’s Capacity Management provides the necessary information on current and planned resource utilisation of individual components to enable you to make informed decisions, with confidence:

  • Which components to upgrade (i.e. more memory, faster storage devices, faster processors, greater bandwidth)
  • When to upgrade – ideally this is not too early, resulting in expensive over-capacity, nor too late, resulting in bottle-necks, inconsistent performance and ultimately dissatisfaction and lost business opportunities
  • How much the upgrade will cost – the forecasting and planning elements of Capacity Management cater for planned budgetary lifecycles and investment

Service Level Management

Through SLM, the goal for KLIKON’s Managed Service is to maintain and improve your IT service quality, through a constant cycle of agreeing, monitoring and reporting upon IT service achievements delivered through our NOC and instigation of actions to eradicate poor service – in line with your business or cost justification. Through these methods, a better relationship between KLIKON and its customers can be developed

KLIKON’s Service Level Management will ensure
  • Better ongoing communication between the business and the IT operations
  • Clear definitions of agreed-upon service levels between business and IT, for agreed upon costs
  • Increased business value for current and future IT costs
  • Increased satisfaction with IT service quality

Remote Routine Support

KLIKON Solutions provides scheduled, routine support for IT resources which are deemed appropriate for each client. This enables our clients to off load the maintenance of the mundane to KLIKON and allows them to focus on more strategic or core initiatives.

A KLIKON Solutions Managed Services Support Engineer will access your network via a secure VPN connection and by following an intelligent, electronic form, review and record fundamental infrastructure attributes which reflect the performance, health and security of your network.
